Sunday for starters

Well, I've never done a blog before and have no idea what I'm really doing. But, as it's about an ordinary man just saying 'stuff', here goes.

Today I decided I needed to start updating the website, so I took out my carving knives and ancient flexcut set and tidied up some Saturday carvings. You know, carving wrinkles, carving eyes in etc. Then, using a new local wood wax which was applied with an old toothbrush, I needed to photograph them.

Photography is not one of my talents. I got a large piece of wood, some nice black silk suit lining, and started clicking my phone. Cleaning the lens would've saved me some time.

Anyway, with all that done I then needed to upload the pics to the newly acquired laptop (thanks son).

WHY IS NOTHING EASY

This took a bloomin age, but I managed it.

So, then, all buoyed up I decided to start messing with other bits of the website.

EVER get the feeling you should've just stopped while you were ahead? - lol

So, the decision was made to go to the pub for a pint.
